R•Dee Winery is a family owned winery with a focus on grape to glass by utilizing grapes from regions that grow them best. Our grandfather, Richard Dee, taught us to put family first and always follow your dreams. He has inspired us to continue to make wine as he did for years creating many wonderful memories. We hope to one day own our own vineyard and continue to make great wine in Connecticut. Pour a glass and create your story.
Our winery was designed and built by hand by the owners and their families. The McAuliffe's and their family designed the place with a vision of tradition and romance. They stained the ceiling, put in the floors, built the bar and included many little touches throughout the tasting room to make it all come together. The winery is a relaxing place where you can feel at home with a glass of wine, family and friends and good conversation and company.
R•Dee Winery hosts Trivia every Thursday with Best Ever Trivia starting at 7pm.

We work with small family owned and operated farms and vineyards to import our grapes directly from the regions that grow them best! We currently work with multiple vineyards in the Finger Lakes region of NY, California and South Africa! We have whites, reds, rose, and our homemade sangrias!
We offer all guests wine by the glass (in a 6 oz. Traditional or 9 oz. "Heavy" pour), wine by the bottle for in-house consumption, and Wine Flights.
A rotating schedule of fresh white Slushies made with R•Dee Winery wines, real fruits and real juice. No artificial colors of dyes used. We pride ourselves in using fresh products in our Slushies for everyone to enjoy. Check in with our wine-tender or social media for current flavor.
Choose any of our 4 wines or sangrias and take your flight to your table to enjoy. We have menus for you to
use to
guide yourself through a tasting.
Due to state mandate we are currently not offering traditional wine tastings at the bar.
R•Dee Winery is owned by Michele and Mark McAuliffe. Michele grew up here in Enfield, CT and graduated from Fermi High School. Mark grew up outside Philadelphia. We graduated from Ithaca College in New York with our doctorates in Physical Therapy and currently work in the local area during the week. We loved that we were able to go to school among the vineyards and wineries of the Finger Lakes Region. We were married here in town and reside in Enfield with our three boys!
We are blessed to be able to be part of an amazing community here in Enfield and here within Connecticut and love giving back! We have been able to donate to multiple local charity events, donations in support of the St. Bernard’s School Golf Tournament, donations and pouring at wine tasting event to support Education Resources for Children (ERfC), donations for support of Enfield Child Developmental Center and completing our yearly toy drive to support the children at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center each December.

Looking for the perfect spot to host your event?! We are the place for you! We rent our private back room for gatherings, parties, celebrations or corporate events. We serve the best of both worlds with wine, sangria and wine Slushies (seasonal) from R•Dee Winery and beer from Powder Hollow Brewery! Our guests who rent the private room can bring in their own food, or have it catered. Decorate for your event to make it special and just the way you envision it! We can create a tab service, assist with purchasing drink tickets or set up individual tabs for each guest. We are here to help you create and enjoy your perfect event!
January - October $50 non-refundable rental fee
November - December $100 non-refundable rental fee
Our Winery Tasting Room is open for all to enjoy. We will be serving traditional wine tastings at our bar.
We will also be selling wine by the glass, wine flights, and bottles to enjoy with family and friends on site or at
home.
We offer two options for tastings: traditional wine tasting or a wine flight.
Both options include 4 wines of your choice for $10.
You also have the option to take your tasting glass home with your tasting for $12.
We sell Cheese Platters at the winery, and as always you are always more then welcome to bring
in outside food to enjoy with your wine and great company.
We do not allow any outside alcoholic beverages onsite due to state law and federal regulations
but we do share a building with Powder Hollow Brewery so bring your beer drinking friends and family along to enjoy
a pint!
We accept all major forms of credit cards; VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
We do not accept checks at the tasting room.
We are so happy to be back open as part of the re-opening phases in CT! Due to the state mandate we are not allowed to conduct formal wine tastings at the bar to due to safety but we are offering our wine flights for you to enjoy at your tables along with menus to assist in guidance through your tastings. Masks are required at all times when walking in the Tasting Room. You are more than welcome to remove when are you are seated at your table. We are excited to be able to offer both indoor and outdoor seating and is offered on a first come first serve basis. We continue to maintain CT state health guidelines for sanitation protocols and hand sanitizer is available if needed.
